Iftar at Crown Princess

Big Thanks to Crown Princess Hotel for inviting us for a superb buka puasa.
We went there on the 15 October 2005. Papa or better, papa's company has been the hotel's client for a long time. So being courteous, they invite papa's family and a few staff for buka puasa.
The food was just amazing. Macam-macam ada! What I crave most are definitely the dessert and grilled sections. They grilled almost everything. Ayam, itik, daging, lamb grilled, lamb roasted, udang, sotong, ikan pari, kembung...perghhh....just YUMMY!
And the desserts did not dissapoint me at all. From local kueh-kueh; seri muka, tepung gomak, lepat pisang to pastries and cakes, bread pudding which is my favorite..Ahhhh...these are just fattening me.
My mum and fiance loves the self-made ABC. They took a lot of condiments and very very little ice. Haha...that's the pleasure of buat sendiri.
Antara adegan2 plg best..one of papa's staff really really look like the Malay actor Jehan Miskin (though i don't adore him). So all the other guests especially young girls are turning their heads a few times to make sure whether this is really Jehan or not. Hahaha...let them in curiousity.
And the other best part is, not only we buka puasa for free, papa dapat pulak one whole yummy tasty cake for his birthday. this hotel betul2 baik ok. Again, the other guests pandang semacam. Dah la buka dengan "Jehan Miskin", duduk tempat like tersorok and then dapat cake...Hahahaha! I will not forget all those unbelieving faces!
All in all...we went back will full tummy, and big smiles all over our faces...

Ramadhan al-Mubarak

Ramadhan always brings cheer to us, Muslims. This is the holy month of the year where Muslims shall perform puasa, terawih as well as other rituals. This is the month where people should do more goods and hindrance of any bad deeds.
Ramadhan also is a month for get-togethers. A lot of people planning for Iftar (Break of fast in Arab) here and there. Be it a five-star hotel or just Kedai Tom Yam Bedah, as long as there's friends and families, people will be happy.
Wishing all Selamat Berpuasa!
